Torres Strait Islander Flag

Torres Strait Islander Flag was originally designed by Uncle Bernard Namok in 1992 - The green bands at the top and bottom represent the land, while the blue represents sea. The white Dhari at the centre is a traditional headdress, a big symbol of the Torres Strait Islander people. The five-pointed represents the five major island groups in the region.
