The Connected to Country Collection features the contemporary artwork of Alison Simpson, whose Wiradjuri name is yalidyan.
Alison is a Wiradjuri woman from central New South Wales and a Wemba Wemba woman from northwest Victoria, with cultural connections to many other places. She currently lives and works on Djiriganj and Thaua Countries within the Yuin Nation.
Known for her bright colours, bold patterns and vibrant contemporary style, Alison’s work is inspired by the landscapes and environments around her, the people she shares time with, and the experiences she encounters.
Connected to Country reflects Alison’s ongoing connection to culture, community and place, brought to life across a beautiful range of fashion, accessories and lifestyle products.
